Quick Superforming

Quick Superforming is an evolution of Superplastic Superforming. Quick Superforming is a high temperature, strain rate controlled gas pressure forming process utilising full automation and heated sheet or tube capable of achieving component volumes of 30,000/yr.  The materials used are capable of achieving equivalent thickness strains in excess of 100% at substantially faster strain rates than Superplastic Superforming. The process can achieve complex shapes beyond conventional limits and complex tool movement to achieve features undercut to die-line.
